Social Media Lead

We're looking for one person to take full ownership of RBF's Instagram. This is a part-time, paid, fully remote gig. And yes, you'd get to work with actual RBF books.

Role Overview

• Running the RBF Instagram: posts, reels, stories, DMs, comments
• Staying on top of trends and trending audio and jumping on them early
• Creating aesthetic content using RBF books (sent to you physically)
• Editing strong reel hooks that stop the scroll and pull viewers in
• Maintaining a consistent, beautiful brand aesthetic. This is non-negotiable.
• Engaging with our community genuinely and warmly
• Bringing ideas to the table without being asked
• Part-time, fully remote, flexible hours

Requirements

• Active presence on Bookstagram with a strong, consistent aesthetic
• Always on top of trends: audio, formats, and what's resonating in the book community
• Ability to write reel hooks that make someone stop scrolling instantly
• Proficient in Canva with basic photo and video editing skills
• A strong eye for typography and how text sits within a visual
• Reliable, self-driven, and comfortable working independently
• Eye for detail does the talking, not follower count
